The service agreement

Terms of Service

These terms set expectations for students, educators, institutions, and administrators using Trivia World on the web or Android.

Last updated: October 19, 2026

1. Using Trivia World

By registering or using Trivia World, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you act for an institution, you confirm that you have authority to manage its account and accept these terms for it. Use the service only where you have the necessary authority and any required parent, guardian, school, or local permission.

2. Accounts and institution access

One account may be a student in one institution and a staff member in another. Access is based on your current platform role, institution membership, enrollment, and batch or exam eligibility. Keep account details accurate and your credentials private. You are responsible for activity through your account and should promptly report suspected misuse. We may restrict access when required to protect users, exam integrity, or the service. Institutions control their own staff assignments, enrollments, content, and permitted student access.

3. Exams and fair use

Follow the rules shown for each exam. Timed exams use a server-managed deadline. Depending on exam settings, switching tabs or leaving the exam may generate warnings and, at the configured limit, cause automatic submission. Device registration and reset rules may apply to student sessions. Connectivity interruptions, device restrictions, and browser or operating-system behavior can affect an exam, so use a supported device and stable connection. The enrolled coaching institution is solely responsible for student support and operational decisions about connectivity interruptions, device reset approvals, batch disputes, exam re-openings, and grading inquiries. Trivia World handles platform software, server availability, and payment gateway issues rather than those academic decisions. Do not share answers, impersonate another student, bypass access rules, manipulate attempts, or interfere with the service. Institutions decide when eligible results become visible under their configured policies.

4. Institution content and permissions

Institutions retain copyright and ownership of the questions, diagrams, explanations, and other educational content they upload. They remain responsible for the materials they submit, including accuracy, lawful use, and rights to publish them. They give Trivia World permission to host, process, display, distribute to authorized learners, and format that content as needed to provide the service, including printable papers; this technical license does not transfer ownership to Trivia World. Staff must only access student information for legitimate institution work and must keep their own permissions current. Do not upload unlawful, infringing, malicious, or harmful material.

5. Packages, billing, and changes

Institution package features, limits, price, duration, and payment method are shown during purchase or in the billing dashboard. A package starts after the relevant payment is verified or an authorized grant is applied, and lasts for its stated period. Current purchases do not automatically renew. Refunds or payment disputes are handled according to the applicable checkout terms and law. A lower package may stop new question creation or enrollment above the lower limits; downgrade or expiration alone does not delete existing questions, student records, or exam attempts. Separately authorized deletion and published retention rules may still apply. Approved student seats are subject to a fair-use lock period that defaults to 30 days and can be changed in platform settings; the lock prevents immediate seat recycling.

6. Advertising and ad-free entitlements

An active eligible paid institution package can make that institution's individual coaching content screens ad-free for its enrolled students. It is not an account-wide ad-free subscription. Public content may still show ads. If a student belongs to multiple coaching centers, another center's ad-supported content may show ads, and mixed app screens may show ads when at least one enrolled center allows them. A student web dashboard ad is displayed only when every active enrolled center allows ads. Active timed exams across the platform do not contain ads. Ad availability also depends on platform configuration and provider delivery.

7. Notifications and third-party services

When configured, we or authorized institution staff may send service, institution, batch, exam, or result notifications through web push or the Android app. Device and browser permission settings control whether alerts appear; delivery is not guaranteed. Notification previews are informational and do not grant access to protected content. The service also uses external providers for hosting, storage, sign-in, messaging, analytics, crash diagnostics, ads, contact delivery, and payments. Their availability and terms may affect specific features. See the Privacy Policy for data handling.

8. Availability and responsibility

We work to keep Trivia World reliable and secure, but features may be interrupted for maintenance, provider outages, network issues, or abuse prevention. We may change or retire features with appropriate notice when practical. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or a particular exam or academic outcome. Nothing in these terms limits rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

9. Changes and contact

We may revise these terms as the service changes and will update the date on this page. Continued use after the updated terms take effect means you accept them where permitted by law. For student questions, enrollment inquiries, or exam interruptions, students should contact their respective coaching institution directly, as coachings are solely responsible for student assistance. For platform-level inquiries, subscription billing issues, or a suspected breach of these terms, use an available contact option on the homepage. For a security issue, see our Security page.
